Ross Neal joined Wasps ahead of the 2018/19 season from London Scottish.
Neal’s professional career began with London Irish where he was part of their academy. During this spell he also spent time as a dual-registered player at National League Esher and latterly at London Scottish.
After three years at the Madejski Stadium he opted to make his previous loan move east to Richmond into a permanent one, and become part of London Scottish’s 2017/18 Championship campaign.
And this proved to be a good decision, since the young midfielder started all 22 matches in English rugby’s second tier, using his power and pace to claim eight tries.
His first season in the Black and Gold saw him feature 11 times for the first-team, scoring a brace on his debut in a home win over Bristol Bears, and also crossing for a try against Toulouse in the Heineken Champions Cup.
The 6ft 6in centre also impressed in Wasps A's impressive finish to the 2018/19 Premiership Rugby Shield campaign, as they produced four back-to-back, bonus-point wins to end the season.
