The Coventry-born hooker is a product of Woodlands School and Barkers Butts – the Meriden-based club which also produced England internationals Danny Grewcock, Rob Hardwick, Tom Wood, Neil Back and Leon Lloyd.
Harris came to rugby as a teenager, and spent time in New Zealand playing for North Otago prior to returning to the UK with Bedford Blues.
He moved north to join Championship rivals Nottingham in 2015, where he played 34 times over two seasons, and discovered a knack for try-scoring which included a ten-minute hat-trick from the bench.
Harris joined Wasps in 2017, and in his maiden season played seven first team games, including two in the Premiership and one in Europe.
He has also regularly been seen in A League action where his close-range power and useful turn of foot has allowed him to claim a number of tries.
TJ left the club to join Championship side Jersey Reds for the 2019/20 season, but returned on a short-term loan deal till the end of the current campaign, after a number of the club's hookers were ruled out with injury.
