World Rugby Under 20 Championship Semi-Finals Round-Up

Wasps Academy had two players involved in the semi-finals of this year’s World Rugby Under 20 Championship in Argentina.

Tom Willis scored an 80th-minute match-winning-try for England Under 20s as they beat Ireland Under 20s in Rosario 30-23 on Monday.

Willis scored his third try of the tournament to help England avenge their loss to Ireland in the opening fixture of the tournament and as a result will face Wales in the fifth-place final on Saturday 22 June (KO 2.30pm BST, live on World Rugby)

They will take on Wales, who defeated New Zealand in the other fifth-placed semi-final, at the Racecourse Stadium, Rosario. 

Wasps Academy back Cameron Anderson was also in the Scotland Under 20s squad which lost 19-26 against Italy Under 20s in terrible conditions at Rosario’s Club Old Resian.

Scotland will face Fiji in the eleventh-place final on Saturday, 22 June, KO 2.30pm BST
