Wasps support Restart Rugby Weekend 2018

Date: 10 Apr 2018

Wasps are proud to announce that our game this weekend against Worcester Warriors will be dedicated to Restart Rugby – the charity which supports professional players suffering from serious injury, illness or hardship.

Together with all Premiership Rugby Clubs, we’re aiming to help raise £10,000 to support players such as former Wasps back rower Ed Jackson, who was just 28 when a horrific accident left him virtually paralysed from the neck down.

“Since my accident, the support I’ve received from Restart Rugby has been incredible, taking all the stress out of everything. I thought I would be stuck in hospital for six months or a year, but thanks to the charity’s direct support, I've been able to come home, attack my rehab and learn to walk again.” Ed Jackson
