Wasps can confirm that Callum Sirker and Mario Pichardie will both be heading out on loan with Coventry Rugby.
The pair will join the Greene King IPA Championship side immediately, as they prepare for the start of their season with two friendlies against Saracens, before the regular season begins in March.
Winger Sirker has found his opportunities limited through injury since being promoted to the Wasps first team squad ahead of the 2019/20 season.
Meanwhile 19-year-old back-rower Pichardie recently returned from a spell with Alcobendas Rugby back in Spain.
The pair are both Wasps Under 18s graduates. Pichardie joined Wasps’ Senior Academy from Henley College ahead of the 2019/20 season. Sirker re-joined Wasps in 2018/19, having been with the England 7s programme from 2016 to 2018.
Kevin Harman, Head of Recruitment and Academy, commented: “We are pleased that Callum and Mario will get the chance to play some high-quality regular rugby away from Wasps.
“I would like to thank Roland Winter for helping to setup this opportunity to enhance their development.”
Everyone at Wasps would like to wish Callum and Mario the very best of luck during their time out on loan.
