Wasps are delighted to confirm the signing of Cornish Pirates loosehead prop Marlen Walker on a short-term loan deal.
With a number of players away on international duty and ruled out with injury after recent Gallagher Premiership matches, the former New Zealand Secondary Schools representative will provide much needed cover.
The 32-year-old joined Pirates in 2015 and has made over 120 appearances for the Greene King IPA Championship side.
Born in Auckland, Walker was previously a member of the Auckland Blues and Western Force Academies.
Lee Blackett, Wasps Head Coach, said: “With some players unavailable to us, we needed to bring some much-needed cover at loosehead prop.
“Marlen has been an impressive operator in the Championship for a number of seasons now and we look forward to welcoming him to the club.”
