On Sunday 1st October, we celebrate 150 years of Wasps in our anniversary game against Bath Rugby, at the Ricoh Arena (kick-off 3pm).
To mark the occasion, there will be celebrations across the venue and a special outdoor street festival-style Fan Village in Car Park D, with a host of entertainment including a performance by award-winning magician Will Gray, who will be bringing his unique style of magic and comedy to the day, a balloon modeller and a human statue outside rather than indoor.
There will also be live music from new band 'The Peas' who are an energetic, multitasking 80's, 90's and 00's skiffle pop duo. Featuring Kelly on double bass and Kelvin on acoustic guitar/bass drum, 'The Peas' find the good in any bad song from 'the hit parade' of the golden years and recreate them with the addition of vocal harmonies, beatbox, vocal synthesizer and kazoos!
We will be launching our eagerly-anticipated 150th anniversary commemorative book in the Club Store, where there will be a selection of current players as well as legendary past players on hand to sign copies of the book.
In the Clubhouse, there will be a special cake presented in honour of Wasps 150th anniversary, a Q&A with Wasps legends and a visit from magician Will Gray.
The culmination of our two-day charity bike ride in association with Dallaglio RugbyWorks will be marked by a parade in the stadium bowl at half time with the cyclists who took part in the 150-mile ride, during which Wasps Academy players will be doing bucket collections around the pitch in support of this wonderful charity that helps disadvantaged 14 to 17 year-olds achieve sustained education, employment or training.
Tickets start from £23 for Adults with under 10s FREE in selected areas.
