Taste the flavours of France at Wasps v Toulouse

Date: 27 Nov 2018

Wasps supporters are being given the chance to sample the flavours of France ahead of the Club’s crunch Heineken Champions Cup clash against Toulouse at Ricoh Arena.

Supporters who book their space in the Premier Lounge for Wasps' match against the four-time European champions on Saturday 8 December (kick-off 5.30pm) will be given exclusive access to a luxury wine-tasting experience.

Majestic Wine, the UK’s largest wine specialist, will be serving up a range of red, white and sparkling samples to supporters in the Premier Lounge who can also watch an action-packed day of Heineken Champions Cup matches ahead of the main event at Ricoh Arena.

Dai Young’s side go into Round 3 of the competition, currently sat on three points in Pool 1, and are looking to close the gap on current group leaders Toulouse with four group games to play.

Fans can get their rugby fix in the Premier Lounge beforehand with Bath v Leinster and Toulon v Montpellier (both 3.15pm kick-offs). A Wasps first-team player will then share his pre-match thoughts ahead of the 5.30pm kick-off.

The experience will run alongside the complementary bar service, as well as a three-course dining experience, a champagne reception on arrival, a match day programme, direct access to the corporate balcony and on-site car parking.

Premier Lounge members for this match will also be given a £10 voucher that can be redeemed on Majestic Wine’s online store.

James Wootton, Head of Commercial Sales at Wasps, said: “European Champions Cup action under the lights at the Ricoh Arena has produced some memorable moments in recent years – and we’re offering our supporters and partners the chance to make it another memorable one off the pitch, and hopefully on it as well.

“This is Wasps’ biggest game of the season so far against an experienced European team, so if you want to treat a family member or a business client to a day out and some top-class rugby, then this is your chance.

“Dai needs as many people as possible to get behind his players so they can get a victory to still be within a chance of making the knockout stages – and we’re offering our supporters a chance to mark the big occasion in style.”
