Date: 20 Jul 2017

As preparations continue ahead of the 2017/18 season, the following players are continuing to work through rehabilitation programmes with the medical team.

Kyle Eastmond suffered an Achilles rupture against Gloucester in February. He continues to progress well and is aiming for a return to play in September.

Sam Jones suffered a complex ankle and leg injury in October 2016. His initial recovery took longer than was first hoped, but he is now making good progress and is aiming for a return to play in September.

Willie Le Roux had groin surgery in the off-season and is aiming to be available for the start of the season.

Alex Lundberg has had a series of ankle injuries. He is making good progress, currently easing back into training and is aiming to be available for the start of the season.

Tommy Taylor suffered an ACL rupture in June. With an estimated six to nine month rehabilitation time, his operation went well and he is looking for a return in the new year.

In addition to the above, James Haskell is due to undergo surgery on a hand injury following the culmination of the Lions Tour. This will see him side-lined for approximately 8-10 weeks, targeting a return in September.
