Joe Launchbury will lead his side out on his 100th Premiership appearance in The Big Sting at Ricoh Arena on Saturday, as Wasps look to sign off the 2018/19 Gallagher Premiership season in style against Harlequins (kick-off 4pm).
Meanwhile, Wasps fans are set to say farewell to some Club legends, as Dai Young’s side chase a place in next season’s Champions Cup, while Quins hunt the fourth and final play-off spot.
Elliot Daly returns from a knee injury to start at outside centre for his final and 193rd appearance in the Black and Gold, while Lima Sopoaga also returns to the starting line-up after the birth of his second child.
Club legend Joe Simpson, fellow centurion Nathan Hughes, Springbok Willie Le Roux and Gaby Lovobalavu also start, in what will be their final appearances in a Wasps jersey.
Lock James Gaskell (back) recovers from a knock to start and Zurabi Zhvania (knee) is fit again to be named among the replacements.
Also on the bench is versatile back Rob Miller, who could make his 150th Premiership appearance, while another Club centurion in Jake Cooper-Woolley, and Craig Hampson, could feature for their farewell appearances.
Wasps Director of Rugby Dai Young said: “There is plenty of rivalry between the two teams. We’re two teams who both want to attack, who always get under each other’s skin, and there’s always a bit of argy-bargy and banter flying about.
“Our performances at The Ricoh haven’t been good enough this season and we’ve let the supporters down. This is echoed by the players too. They recognise it and they want to put it right, they want to put in a big performance to say thanks to the fans.
“We can’t worry about other games and outcomes. It’s down to 22 games over the season, not one. We haven’t performed well enough, but hopefully we can get the performance and the result and that’ll take us where it takes us.”
