Jack Willis wins top prizes at Wasps' virtual End of Season Awards

Jack Willis scooped the top prizes at Wasps’ virtual End of Season Awards held on Twitter on Saturday afternoon.

The virtual awards were a chance to reflect on Wasps' remarkable 2019/20 campaign with six prizes being presented.

Willis picked up the Wasps Supporters' and Players’ Player of the Season awards. The back-rower adding Wasps' top two awards to the Gallagher Premiership Player of the Season and RPA Vodafone Business Players' Player of the Year awards he won last month. 

Jack enjoyed a fine campaign in the Black and Gold, having made 26 appearances this season and finishing as Wasps' top try scorer in all competitions with 13.

Jacob Umaga picked up the Young Player of the Season award, as the 22-year-old made 24 appearances during the campaign and was rewarded for his form with a place in Eddie Jones' England squad.

Umaga also scooped the Community Player of the Season award for his work with Coventry University Women's Rugby Team, Aston Old Edwardians and Wasps Community's Playing Advantage Programme. 

Meanwhile second row Thibaud Flament picked up the Academy Player of the Season award after a fantastic run of games before the lockdown break for the 23-year-old.

Vodafone Try of the Season went to Dan Robson for his effort at Ricoh Arena against Bristol Bears in Gallagher Premiership Round 20.
