Ben Morris appeared before an online independent disciplinary panel on Wednesday 19 May 2021.
Morris was shown a red card by referee Ian Tempest in the 58th minute of the match between Wasps and Worcester Warriors on Saturday 15 May 2021. This was for tackling, contrary to World Rugby Law 9.13.
The Panel went in at the mandatory minimum of mid-range (6 weeks) and applied the maximum mitigation of 50%.
Morris accepted the charge against him and was given a three week suspension by the independent disciplinary panel.
He’s banned from the 18 May to the 14 June and he’s free to play again on the 15 June.
He’ll miss the following games:
29.05 Northampton Saints v Wasps
05.06 London Irish v Wasps
12.06 Wasps v Leicester Tigers
