Autumn International Ticket Ballot 2017
Date: 2 Aug 2017
The ballot for the Old Mutual Wealth Series at Twickenham in November is now open, exclusively for Season Ticket Holders.
England will play three consecutive Tests against Southern Hemisphere opponents in 2017 at Twickenham Stadium against Argentina, Australia and Samoa with all three matches broadcast live on Sky Sports HD.
Eligible members are invited to apply for tickets for the England v Australia match at Twickenham on 18 November. Eligible members are those persons who have purchased a Wasps season ticket for the 2017/2018 season. Holders of shorter period tickets are not eligible to apply.
Tickets for both the Argentina and Samoa are on general sale through England Rugby.
Closing date for applications is 31 August 2017. Please make cheques payable to ‘Wasps Football Club’. The prices shown on the application form include a nominal booking fee per ticket to defray costs of printing, postage etc. Completed application forms should be sent by post, along with payment, to Andrew Richmond.
Ticket availability is dictated by the balance between allocation of tickets from the RFU and demand for tickets from membership. Whilst no restriction has been placed on the number of tickets that may be applied for, it may prove necessary to re-visit this issue when all numbers are finalised. It is intended to distribute the tickets as widely as possible and thus allocation may be restricted to a maximum of two per applicant. Should ticket requests greatly exceed availability, a ballot will be conducted.
Ticket usage – The RFU has issued a lengthy document to all Clubs regarding the use of international tickets, the black market and the imposition of sanctions should any ticket allocated to the Club fall into the hands of speculators. The Club will not tolerate the involvement of any Club member in this activity, no matter the circumstances.
Despatch of tickets will take place as soon as possible following receipt of tickets from the RFU; this normally occurs 2-3 weeks prior to the match. All applicants will receive a letter providing allocation details, with tickets if successful, in the run-up to the matches. Please direct all queries on international tickets to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note – Andrew Richmond is working on behalf of the club, if you have any queries please email email@example.com
