At Wasps we like to play exciting, entertaining rugby and score lots of tries and points and it’s no different on the Wasps Coachclass.
This camp is open to boys and girls in the U7-U9 (School Years 2-4) age groups (as at 01/09/2020), and we welcome all abilities.
In light of the latest Government guidance, and the RFU moving to Stage D in the return to rugby community roadmap, these October half-term coaching camps will be delivered safely for all participants and staff. Each camp will strictly adhere to all current advice and thorough measures will be put in place to ensure the safety of all. Each coaching group will be capped at a maximum of 20 places, who will form a bubble throughout the duration of the camp.
With a reduced level of physical contact and in line with current RFU guidance, the camps will be largely focused on touch-rugby based games aimed at developing game/spatial awareness, technical rugby skills and game management. We will continue to ensure the number of people on site at any time is controlled and our coaching provided is applicable to where you are in your rugby journey.
We welcome children of all levels to join us, now’s a great time to get back on the field, be active and enjoy playing sport in a safe environment!
At the start of each day each participant must complete a self-assessment check to ensure they are symptom free and that no households have had to isolate within the last 14 days.
Whilst we will take every precaution to ensure the safety of everyone at our rugby camps, we cannot be held responsible if someone who has attended the camp was to later display symptoms of Covid-19
