Wasps are committed to working with local communities, utilising the power of sport to provide opportunity, inspiration and education for all.

HITZ is Premiership Rugby’s award-winning education and employability programme which works with more than 2,000 young people, aged 14 - 19 years old, every year. HITZ, delivered nationally by Premiership Rugby’s 13 member clubs, aims to use rugby’s core values to develop the personal skills, life skills and employability skills of young people not in education, training or employment (NEET).

In order to help NEET audiences get back into training, education and employment we provide an alternative environment for young people to earn vital Maths and English qualifications. Alongside this we arrange valuable work experience opportunities and employer-led training sessions, as well as deliver essential enrichment and sporting activities to develop individuals and their mental/physical wellbeing. For more information please visit www.wasps.co.uk/HITZ.

The HITZ Officer position will be based at the Ricoh Arena with delivery of the programme in the surrounding areas. Due to the nature of the job some evening and weekend work will be required. Applicants must hold a valid driving license and have access to a suitable vehicle.
