About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Rugby Operations/Team Manager to join our team.

Reporting to the Director of Rugby you will be responsible for the administrative and logistical requirements of the first team within the Rugby department, planning team logistics and travel, off-field player management, match day team manager role, liaison with governing bodies and other departments within Wasps and managing the day-to-day training facilities within the Coventry area.

You will be responsible for providing support to our First Team players, a key element of this role is building a positive and approachable working relationship to the first team and support staff as well as liaising with all external contractors.

The successful candidate

  • At least three years’ experience in an office management or operational role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience of working with a personal databases or databases in general
  • At least 1 years’ experience of scheduling and planning
  • Proven ability to plan and meet deadlines
  • Ability to liaise with Senior Management confidently and clearly, both written and verbal
  • Strong prioritisation, multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Aware of the importance for processing confidential information
  • Ability to perform within a busy environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge or experience of working within a sporting environment is desirable but not essential

Hours of work

This role is full time and requires the successful candidate to be able to work flexibly. You will be required to work a five in seven day week, which will be dependent on the needs of the business. The flexibility to work outside normal office hours and work match days is essential. This will include weekends and public holidays.

We are recruiting Rugby Match Day Stewards to join our friendly, approachable security team. Successful candidates will be responsible for stewarding public areas of the stadium including the main hospitality areas ensuring that our guests receive excellent customer service through providing of clear and accurate information as well as ensuring the safety of our guests.
