Wasps Charity/fundraising Policy
Wasps receive thousands of requests for donations and charity involvement each year. This fundraiser policy is in place to facilitate this process and best serve the wider community.
Wasps is committed to working with the local community and recognise and appreciate the significance and hard work put into fundraising by organisations, sports clubs, charities and community groups in the West Midlands and surrounding areas, as well as the impact Wasps can have to help to generate support, awareness and revenue for these.
Wasps have been working together with the Alan Higgs Foundation, Dallaglio RugbyWorks, Zoe's Place,SSAFA as well as the Wasps Community Foundation. Working with these organisations enables us to focus resource each year ensuring that we provide significant impact in raising funds and awareness. This commitment to our nominated charities does not exclude the club from supporting other local charities and good causes where deemed appropriate we'll support with match ticket vouchers for games played at the Ricoh Arena involving Wasps.
The Higgs Charity support strategic initiatives, projects or activities in particular geographical or thematic areas and target particular needs within the community helping the needs of groups or organisations supported through one-off grants. Charitable giving ranges from large strategic projects to small local donations. All grants are made within the beneficial area. Wasps provide continued support the Higgs Charity by donating 50p from every seat sold in The Higgs Charity Stand.
- Wasps Community Foundation
The Wasps Community foundation aims to educate, motivate and inspire people through the power of sport, having a commitment to the community through long-term projects including the delivery of Tag Rugby tournaments and festivals, coach classes, special education programmes and other community rugby projects. These are all run to encourage more active, inclusive and healthier communities.
Charity Ticket Vouchers
In addition to the support provided to these charities, Wasps provide a limited number of fundraiser tickets to be used as raffle prizes. These can be redeemed during the season for any game in the Aviva Premiership at the Ricoh Arena, subject to ticket availability. The value of these tickets is fixed and suggested they be used as raffle prizes rather than auction items.

Submissions are required at least four weeks prior
Charities will be contacted to confirm if they have been successful. Wasps DO NOT accept email requests, requests through our contact us form on the website or requests via mail or telephone and these will not be considered.
Due to the large number of applications received, Wasps are unable to accommodate requests from organisations or groups outside of the West Midlands, Buckinghamshire and South Oxfordshire, however, the club may make special provisions as an exception.

- Voluntary and community groups
- Sports clubs
Signed Merchandise for Auction
Due to demand Wasps are unable to provide any merchandise to auction for charity. This includes signed shirts and balls. These items are available to purchase from the Wasps Store at the Ricoh Arena or online at www.waspsshop.co.uk. Please note that Wasps do not accept items for signature.
We only fund raise for our chosen charities on match days at the Ricoh Arena.
