Jake Cooper-Woolley joined Wasps at the beginning of the 2013/14 season and was quick to make an impact and cement himself in the starting line-up. Under the guidance of Dai Young, Jake made 22 appearances for the Club and scored two tries, including a crucial try against Worcester Warriors in the last play of the game.
Jake was awarded the coveted Young Player of the Year award at the end of the 2013/14 season for his brilliant efforts in his first season at Wasps.
Cooper-Woolley has continued to develop over the past four seasons at Wasps and has now made nearly 100 Wasps appearances. His performances in the Black and Gold last season earned him a place in the England Saxons Squad that toured South Africa last summer.
The promising young English prop was involved with Harlequins at youth level before heading to University in Wales.
Cooper-Woolley captained Cardiff University to Welsh Varsity triumph at the Millennium Stadium in 2012, before succumbing to injury which saw him miss most of this season, where he was expected to play a strong role with Cardiff.
The 27-year-old previously spent two seasons in the Welsh Premiership playing with Bedwas and before that English club side Dorking.
