Matt Everard

Matt Everard joined the club at the start of the 2011/12 season having impressed as one of the young stars at the IRB Junior World Cup where he helped England reach the final.

Everard played in the tournament at flanker, joining up with a number of the club's other young guns such as Christian Wade and Joe Launchbury, and signed for Wasps later that summer from Leicester Tigers where he had spent four years.

The youngster joined Wasps with experience that belied his youth including captaincy roles with seven different school, club and national sides including England U18s and U19s.

A young back-row hungry for work, Everard has huge potential on the flank, and is expected to be nurtured through the ranks to become a regular senior player at Wasps.
