A former schoolboy javelin champion from Yorkshire, Rob Webber moved from Leeds Tykes to Wasps in 2005, making his senior debut that December. The following summer, the young hooker represented England Under-21s in the IRB Junior World Cup.
Rob gained a high level of experience as a young player, representing England at all levels, from U16 to U21, as well as playing in the European Shield with Leeds.
When he arrived at Wasps he made a big impact in the A side and was part of the team that won back to back A League titles in 2007 and 2008.
Webber made his England Saxons debut in 2009, and toured with England's senior squad in 2010.
He was frustrated by injury last season missing out on large parts of the year and he will be determined to make an impact more regularly in the 2011/12 season.
