Players from the Windsor RFC Under 7s and Under 8 took part in our European Challenge Cup Experience at Adams Park Stadium. The Berkshire-based boys and girls enjoyed a combination of our three most popular match day activities as part of the big game experience of Wasps versus Stade Francais.
The day started with a one-hour Tag Rugby coaching session on the stadium pitch with our community coaches, character mascot Sting and Wasps players Josh Bassett, Matt Everard and Rory Pitman. This was followed by the Windsor RFC players forming the flag- waving Tunnel of Honour to welcome the Wasps and Stade Francais players onto the pitch. The young players then got the chance to enjoy the first half action before taking to the pitch once again to play an exhibition Tag Rugby match in front thousands of Wasps supporters at half-time.
Jason Stone, Windsor RFC Under 7/8 liaison said, "Once again...another great day at Wasps...! Thank you for setting this afternoon up, the kids had a fantastic time and couldn't have asked for anything more...dedicated coaching time, guard of honour, half-time exhibition game and a Wasps win."
