The draw means that London Wasps will face both Viadana and Grenoble for the first time in the Club’s history, as well as facing a familiar foe in Bayonne, who Wasps have played in the last two years of the competition.

FC Grenoble finished eleventh in last season’s French Top 14. The fixture will be the first time the sides have ever met. Having been promoted into the Top 14 from Pro D2 in 2012, Grenoble have finished eleventh in their two consecutive years in the top flight. With a win and a loss in 2011/12 and a draw and a win in 2012/13 the fixture is always hotly contested. Bayonne finished as runners up in Pool 3 of last year’s Amlin Challenge Cup, with a 13 all draw with London Wasps proving the decisive factor, which saw Wasps top the pool and progress to the knockout stages.
