Community Team attend defibrillation training

Read about the steps we are taking to provide improved First Aid at our Community Events

On Thursday 22nd November five members of our Community Team attended a 1-Day Training Course on CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillation).

Following recent high-profile incidents, where an AED dramatically increased the chance of survival when a casualty's heart had stopped, our Community Team made the proactive step to attend training on CPR and the use of an AED.

Community Rugby Manager Dave Larham told wasps.co.uk, "We run a number of public events each year that require us to provide basic First Aid support for participants and their families. As a Team, we felt that it was important that we can provide AED support should such an incident occur."
