We were delighted to host and deliver the Bloxham School Pre-Season 4-Day Residential Camp at RAF Halton on 28th to 31st August.
Over the course of the 4 days, our coaches delivered 20 hours of rugby coaching to the 66 pupils in the U15s and U16s squads; covering Strength and Conditioning, core rugby skills, unit skills, specialist skills and team patterns.

Each morning the players received a different presentation on areas such as Nutrition and Hydration | The Seven Habits of a Highly Effective Athlete | Leadership | Strength and Conditioning | Swimming Pool Recovery Protocols. The Strength and Conditioning presentation was delivered by London Wasps Academy Strength & Conditioning Coach Keir Wenham-Flatt to educate and advise the young players on how to get the best out of their bodies.
London Wasps flying winger Christian Wade joined the event to provide a Question & Answer session, signed autographs and join the players for photographs.
Tom Tuthill, Director of sport at Bloxham stated, "It was extremely well run and the quality was what you would come to expect from a premiership club."
Andy Goldsmith Master in Charge of Rugby said, "I will definitely do this type of pre-season again, it was excellent value for money and the team bonding and the expertise of coaches was second to none. Thank you for making us aware of this programme and I look forward to working with Wasps in the future."
David Choules, our Independent Schools Officer, "I am pleased with how the event turned out. Our preparation ensured that all the players could enjoy themselves and achieve the learning objectives."
