It's a buzzy weekend for Sting!

Read about where our character mascot is going this weekend

October is traditionally a busy month for our character mascot Sting, with Mini Rugby fixtures starting around the country.

On Saturday 6th October, Sting will join our Independent Schools Officer David Choules at Drifters RFC, for a local Independent School Tag Rugby Festival for Under 8s. The Percy Watts Shield is being run by Gayhurst School and welcomes a number of local Independent Schools:

  • The Beacon School
  • Belmont Preparatory School
  • Chesham Preparatory School
  • Davenies School
  • Northwood School
  • St John's Beaumont
  • St John's School
  • Thorpe House School
  • University College School

Following a Saturday afternoon off (where Sting will watch either Dave Larham coaching Aylesbury RFC, Ryan Hunt playing for Wasps FC, Ian Isham playing for High Wycombe RUFC or Ben Smiley playing for Marlow RUFC) Sting will buzz back into action on Sunday at the Windsor RFC Mini's Festival. Sting will meet and greet the hundreds of young rugby players, who will all be playing in their first competitive games of the season.

After the festival, Sting will fly back to Adams Park Stadium to cheer on London Wasps against Worcester Warriors in the Aviva Premiership. Come along and meet Sting at the stadium before the match by the stage in the car park. Make sure you get your photo with him!
