Wasps unveil new away kit!

London Wasps have unveiled the Club’s 2012/13 away shirt in association with Kukri.

Coinciding with a new era at the Club, Kukri have worked closely with Wasps to develop a unique alternate strip for 2012/13.

The blue and gold shirt is a radical take on the Club’s traditional away shirt and it will also support London Wasps’ official charity partner, Mind, this season.

Kukri will be donating a percentage of the sales from the away shirt at a number of nominated charity games to Mind throughout the season and the Mind logo will feature strongly on the front of the shirt.

The playing shirts will be complemented by matching blue and gold shorts and gold socks.

Phil Morris, founder and Group Managing Director at Kukri commented: “When Wasps told us that they were really keen to undergo a radical change to their shirts this season we were delighted to work with them on developing a new colour range. We had a lot of fun working with the Club on developing a new style and we hope that supporters love it just as much as we do!”

As with the home shirt, the away shirt is available to supporters in three fabric options.

The Replica Pro-Fit jersey is the exact same garment as will be worn by the players – and is Kukri’s elite Rugby garment. The Replica Pro jersey is made from the strong and durable Kohilo 100% Polyester fabric and there’s a Replica Supporters Jersey also be available to Wasps fans, which is made of a classic mix of 60% Cotton 40% Polyester, with a traditional Rugby collar with Brit placket.

The new online shop is now open for orders of both the home and away shirts as well an exciting range of training and leisurewear.

Supporters can purchase their shirts online at www.waspsshop.co.uk or pop down to the Club Shop at the Eden Centre in High Wycombe shop from Saturday 28 July.

*The Club is currently negotiating to finalise a deal for a main shirt sponsor. Home and away shirts will be on sale in full from this weekend without the main sponsor's logo and fans will have the option to have this logo added at a later date free of charge.
