Community 7s Coaching Programme update

Our Community 7s Coaching Programme has provided us with opportunities to visit clubs and schools in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire over the last 2 weeks. In preparation for our JP Morgan Asset Management 7s Festival, we have delivered 90-minute sessions to develop technical and tactical skills for the 7-a-side version of rugby at:
- 27th June at Newbury RFC Session 2 of 3
- 2nd July at Aylesbury Grammar School Session 1 of 3
- 4th July at Chesham Stags RUFC Session 1 of 3
Community Rugby Coach Ben Smiley told wasps.co.uk, "The programme is going really well and is providing young players with a challenging and rewarding opportunity to play the small-sided version of our game. Our coaches have been really impressed with the players' energy levels, skills, fitness and game understanding. Hopefully, if the players across all of our sessions continue to work hard and develop their tactical appreciation of the 7s game, they will make our Festival later in the year an excellent event."

- 11th July at Chesham Stags RUFC Session 2 of 3
