Club confirm departures

London Wasps can confirm that a number of players will depart the Club following the end of the season.

Bob Baker, Ben Broster, Jeremy Castex, Riki Flutey, James Harris, Richard Haughton, Charlie Ingall, Rob Webber, Joe Burton and Chris Elder are all confirmed as moving on from the Club.

A number of short term deals/loan signings are also ending with Heinz Koll, Victor Gresev, Ed O’Donoghue, Tom Prydie and Lee Robinson confirmed as departing.

The final make-up of next season’s squad has yet to be finalised with the Club set to confirm more arrivals and potentially further contract extensions to a number of players.

Dai Young said: “I would like to thank all of the players departing for their efforts in the London Wasps shirt and wish them all the best in the future. We are looking to develop a balanced squad with more depth than the season just gone so we are hopeful there will be more arrivals and contract extensions to come, though undoubtedly our planning has been difficult while the Club’s financial future has been unclear.”

Arrivals already announced for next season are Tom Palmer, James Haskell, Rhys Thomas, Phil Swainston, Stephen Jones, Lee Thomas, Will Taylor and Ashley Johnson.
