Benetton Treviso, who are the current holders and 15-time winners of the Italian Super 10 title, will travel to Dry Leas in Henley, to play Wasps on Saturday 27th of August, KO 2pm.
Wasps have played their A League fixtures at Henley Rugby Club for a number of years and, following the move of the AASE development programme to Henley College, Henley is become a strong hub for Wasps.
The game will provide an opportunity for our fans to watch a number of new signings in action, in the brand new Wasps shirt, and promises to be a fantastic occasion with fun for the whole family. The match day village will host the EMC fastest pass competition, where you can attempt to beat Joe Simpson’s Guinness World Record for the fastest rugby pass, as well as the EMC Goal Kicking Challenge, where you can try and kick as many goals as you can in 30 seconds, inside our giant inflatable EMC kicking cage. There will also be a number of food outlets and a mobile Wasps shop, plus London Wasps’ mascot Sting will be on hand throughout the day.
Clubs in the local area are invited to take part in our Match Day CoacHclass, comprising of a two-hour coaching session before kick-off and match ticket, for £12 per participant or £10 per Platinum Member. All Platinum Members enjoy a special price for the fixture, with tickets available for only £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
There will also be a Tribute Rock Concert in the evening to cap off the event, consisting of Take That, U2, Coldplay, Fleetwood Mac and Rolling Stones.
Entry to the Concert is £15 but supporters can purchase a combined ticket for both the rugby and the concert for an extra £10 and ensure a great end to the day.
