Russell and Ben had been invited by the school to give short speeches to the Year 7 winners and parents on Wednesday, and the Year 8 winners and parents on Thursday.
Both Russell and Ben prepared differing speeches, that aimed to Educate, Motivate and Inspire the young people and parents in the audience as the children begin the long journey to adulthood and working life. Using the Guinness Premiership Trophy as an example, Russell and Ben were able to draw comparisons to working together, setting SMARTER (Specific, Measurable, Achieveable, Realistic, Time Orientated, Enjoyable, Recordable) goals, preparing for working under pressure and working with their coaches/teachers to continually improve.

Following their speeches, Russell and Ben were on hand to present the awards to the young people in the room.
After giving his speech, Russell Bolton told Wasps.co.uk, "It was a pleasure to attend The Mandeville School Celebration of Success. The awards and prizes all recognised the effort that had been put into all subject areas throughout the year, which is something that we always try to encourage. We continue to receive FANtastic support from the Aylesbury Vale community and look forward to seeing as many people as possible at Adams Park next season."
