Wasps supporting Dallaglio Rugby Works at Wasps v Leicester
Wasps are supporting their Aviva Premiership and Heineken Cup winning skipper’s charity Dallaglio Rugby Works during tomorrow’s Premiership clash with Leicester Tigers.
During his playing days, former England captain Lawrence Dallaglio was part of many memorable meetings between the black-and-golds and a Leicester side featuring several of his 2003 World Cup winning teammates.
And he is now hoping the latest renewal of the rivalry provides a boost to his latest venture, which is one of three Wasps 150th anniversary year charity partners.
Dallaglio Rugby Works is an intensive, long-term skills development programme based on rugby. It aims to get 14-to-17-year-olds currently outside of mainstream education to return to studying, or into employment or training.
Bucket collections will take place in the Wasps Nest fan village inside the Ericsson Indoor Arena, around the stadium and on the East concourse.
Fans are also able to donate £5 by texting WASPS to 70500, or by visiting:
