Aviva Premiership rugby returns to the Ricoh Arena

The Aviva Premiership returns to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday 24 October, as Wasps take on last season’s beaten finalists Bath Rugby at 3pm.

After a longer than usual pre-season thanks to the Rugby World Cup, Dai Young’s men will be keen to start the competitive season with a win. The game could see some of Wasps’new signings such as  fly half Jimmy Gopperth, 111 cap Australian back row George Smith and England Saxons scrum-half Dan Robson make their Aviva Premiership home debuts.

Both sides won praise for playing attractive, attacking rugby last season scoring almost 150 Aviva Premiership tries between them.  Bath will travel to the West Midlands for the first of four encounters between the teams this season and both squads will look to get the upper hand ahead of December’s back-to-back European Champions Cup games.

It is set to be a great day out at the Ricoh Arena with the Rugby World Cup Semi Final which could feature England, being screened live on the big screen in the Jaguar Hall. There will also be live music from local band Speak Brother as well as a whole host of children’s activities including the new Wasps Interactive Zone where kids can test their speed accuracy and power against their Wasps heroes.

A 20% Earlybird offer is for a limited time only and must end at 6pm on Friday 4th September.
