Wasps host Harlequins in opening A League match

The 2015/16 Aviva A League fixtures have been announced and we caught up with Wasps Academy Manager Matt Davies to get his thoughts on this year's competition:

"For our younger players it is an opportunity to play in a Wasps shirt and to learn in front of and with more established players. For the guys a little bit older it is their chance to show what they can do in a truly competitive environment.

"Last season players like Will Stuart, Alex Lundberg and Piers O'Conor had a chance to test themselves at this level and this year there is the opportunity for other young players to kick on."

Wasps start off their A League campaign hosting Harlequins at Maidenhead RFC on the 23rd of November. Wasps then travel to London Irish on the 21st of December, before hosting Saracens a week later.

After the turn of the year Wasps host Bristol at Braywick Road on the 4th of January. The A League season is then rounded off with two away trips to Bath and Exeter on the 28th of March and 11th of April respectively.

Should Wasps make it through, the Semi-Finals will be on the 25th of April and the Final on the 2nd of May.
