Wasps have today announced a new agreement with global sports brand Under Armour, the US based leader in performance apparel, footwear and accessories. The multi-year partnership sees Under Armour become the club’s official Technical-Wear Partner.
Wasps become the first Aviva Premiership rugby club to secure a deal with Under Armour, one of the world’s largest sports brands. Under Armour is also technical partner to the Welsh Rugby Union, Top 14 giants Clermont Auvergne and Barclays Premier League football club, Tottenham Hotspur FC. British tennis star Andy Murray and Masters winner Jordan Spieth have also signed multi-year deals with Under Armour.
The announcement, made ahead of the team’s new kit launch in the summer, will see the club’s official Technical-Wear Partner design and develop training wear and match day performance apparel for both the first team and academy squads, adding to the brand’s rich heritage within Rugby Union. The partnership also includes commercial marketing rights and in-stadium signage.
Under Armour become the seventh new partner in the past year to sign with Wasps and will feature on Wasps’ playing shirt alongside the club’s two Fortune 500 companies, Land Rover and EMC, and FTSE listed DS Smith.

The innovative new kit will be built with Under Armour’s signature technologies, which enable peak performance in all weather conditions, including sweat-wicking HeatGear fabric to help keep players cool and dry and ArmourGrid technology for light, durable strength. These technologies are already integrated within the apparel of fellow Under Armour partners Welsh Rugby Union and Top 14 giants Clermont Auvergne, and worn on-pitch by world-class athletes including Leigh Halfpenny and Jamie Roberts.
