Wasps in action this summer

With domestic action finished for the season, Wasps fans can still get their fix, with a number of Wasps in action around the world this summer.

England

Wasps fans will watch with intent as James Haskell, Joe Launchbury and Matt Mullan tour New Zealand with the England squad this summer. England will play a three-test series against the All Blacks this June, with one midweek fixture against the Crusaders.

England U20s

Gus Jones and Alex Lundberg have been included in the England U20s squad for this summer’s Junior World Championship. Both players were a part of the squad for the recent Six Nations competition and travel with the squad to New Zealand, hoping to retain the JWC title.

Italy

Andrea Masi will play alongside new Wasps recruit Lorenzo Cittadini in Italy’s summer tour this June. Italy will play Fiji, Samoa and Japan across three weekends, before Cittadini joins Masi at Twyford Avenue ahead of next season in black and gold.

Scotland

New Wasps recruit Ruaridh Jackson will tour with Scotland this summer as they take on Canada, Argentina and South Africa towards the end of June, ahead of joining up with Wasps for the new season.

Tonga

Will Helu will represent Tonga this summer as his country plays Samoa and Fiji.

Samoa

New Wasps signing Alapati Leiua will represent Samoa this summer when they take on Tonga, Italy and Fiji. Leiua is likely to be a regular source for Wasps fans needing their rugby fix, with the utility back returning to Super Rugby action with the Hurricanes after his international stint.

Hurricanes

Following his spell with Samoa, Leiua will continue Super Rugby action after the international window on the 4th of July when the Hurricanes take on the Crusaders.
