Wasps were all over the Aylesbury RFC Mini Rugby Festival this weekend, which saw, for the first time, the event played over 2 days.
For the Under 10s, 11s and 12s on Saturday 26th April, Wasps Players Ed Jackson and Will Taylor visited the Weston Turville based club, where they met the participating teams, coaches and supporting families.
When the Under 7s, 8s and 9s played on Sunday 27th April, the mischief that is known as "Sting" visited as a part of his whistle stop tour of Buckinghamshire, before returning to Adams Park in time for Wasps' Amlin Challenge Cup semi final against Bath Rugby. Whilst at Aylesbury, Sting posed for photos with the players, and helped some of the teams to warm up before their games.
After the Club's support of the Aylesbury RFC Mini's Festival, Wasps' visit organiser Ben Smiley told wasps.co.uk: "Not only are Aylesbury RFC hosts of the Wasps Community Team, but they are an incredibly active Community Partner Club, with teams and players taking part in all elements of our Community Programme. We were happy to repay the support that we have received, and would like to place on record our thanks for everything that Aylesbury RFC have done, and continue to do with us."
Sting loves getting out in to our community and saying "hello" to everyone. If you would like Sting to support your event, please complete an enquiry form here.
