Double injury blow

Jack Moates and Ben Jacobs are both likely to miss the remainder of the season through injury.

Moates, the scrumhalf, suffered an ACL injury in last weekend’s game against Grenoble and will need surgery. His return to play timeframe has been set at 6-9 months.

Jacobs, the centre, badly damaged ankle ligaments in the same game and he also requires surgery. He is likely to be out for a minimum of six months.

London Wasps Director of Rugby Dai Young said: “It’s a huge shame to lose two players for the remainder of the season in one go and it’s a real blow to Jack and Ben. I know they will be working incredibly hard with our medical team to get back right.”
