London Wasps team to play Grenoble

Director of Rugby Dai Young has named his side to play Grenoble in the Amlin Challenge Cup this Saturday 7 December.

There are four changes to the starting lineup from the side that came out 19-12 winners at the Madejski Stadium last weekend, with one change in the pack and three in the backline.

Up front, Tom Palmer is given the nod in the second row, partnering Joe Launchbury, with Kearnan Myall moving to the bench.

It is all change for the halfbacks, with Joe Simpson and Joe Carlisle starting in the places of Charlie Davies and Andy Goode, who both picked up knocks last weekend.

Director of Rugby Dai Young said “I have always highlighted the importance of this period either side of Christmas in influencing what direction your season can take and these back to back games against Grenoble could, to a great extent, determine the success of our European campaign.”

“Winning in France is always a tough task and Grenoble have proved in their domestic league how dangerous they can be so we are under no illusions that this will be a real test for us this weekend.’
