6 Nations Application Form
Eligible members are those persons (adults / OAPs / students) who have purchased a London Wasps season ticket for the 2013 / 2014 season.
Closing date for applications is 30 November 2013. Please make cheques payable to ‘Wasps Rugby Football Club’. The prices shown on the application form include a nominal (£2) booking fee per ticket to defray costs of printing, postage etc.
Ticket availability for all matches will be dictated by the allocation of tickets from the RFU. Recent Six Nations’ experience suggests that supply is likely to fall a long way short of demand for the major international matches. Thus, in order to save time, money and dismay, applications will only be accepted for one of the major matches involving Ireland or Wales. Such is the likely scarcity of tickets that no allocation will exceed two tickets. Please state your preference on the application form. It is regretted that the requests of some applicants will not be met and that some disappointment will result.
For away matches in Paris, Edinburgh and Rome, the RFU has intimated the Club’s allocation may be as low as four/six tickets per match. It is appropriate therefore to hold a raffle for any tickets which may become available. Applicants are invited to complete the form accordingly @ £1.00 per raffle ticket.
Ticket usage – The RFU has issued a lengthy document to all Clubs regarding the use of international tickets, the black market and the imposition of sanctions should any ticket fall into the hands of speculators. The Club will view in the dimmest light any involvement of a Club member in this activity, no matter the circumstances.
Despatch of tickets will take place as soon as possible following receipt of tickets from the RFU; this normally occurs 2 weeks prior to the match. All applicants will receive a letter providing allocation details, with tickets if successful, in the run-up to the matches.
