Team to play Worcester Warriors

Daly makes a timely return for Wasps

Elliot Daly will make his first appearance of this season this weekend with the highly talented 20-year-old coming straight back into the starting line-up for the Aviva Premiership clash between London Wasps and Worcester Warriors.

Daly’s return is timely given injuries to experienced Wasps backs Tom Varndell, Hugo Southwell and Andrea Masi, and Dai Young has handed the England Saxon the number 15 shirt from the off this Saturday.
Daly’s return is one of two changes to the starting line-up, with Nathan Hughes starting his first game for the Club at number 8, having impressed off the bench last time out. He takes the place of Ed Jackson, who misses out through illness.

On the bench, Jack Moates is poised for his first Wasps appearance, with Joe Simpson ruled out as a precaution after taking a knock to the head last weekend.

Young said: “We’ve worked really hard this week on the areas that have been letting us down and it’s time for us to start converting the narrow losses into wins. Everyone is looking forward to our first game back at Adams Park and hopefully getting off to a good home start.”
