On the penultimate Wednesday of High Wycombe RUFC's summer training schedule, our CoacHclass coaches went along to support the very popular rugby session. Every Wednesday for 6 weeks, High Wycombe RUFC have been hosting open entry coaching sessions for Mini and Junior age groups to revise on core skills, practice new law changes, make new friends and have fun.
Coachclass Programme Officer Ryan Hunt and Community Rugby Coach Lee Salmon joined first timers and regulars for the hour-long session which was very well supported by an audience of parents and relatives. Ryan said after the session, "It's great to see so many young children out playing rugby-related fun games in the off-season. High Wycombe have done a great job of recruiting and retaining players through fun, family-based training sessions like this and all you need to do is see how much the children are enjoying it to realise that it is worthwhile."
Our CoacHclass Premiership Rugby Camps are designed for players of all abilities between the ages of 6 and 16 and offer an exciting opportunity for all young rugby players to develop their core skills, decision-making and game understanding in a fun and rewarding environment.
