On Tuesday 2nd July we were delighted to support the RAF Rugby Union's Continuous Personal Development (CPD) Event for coaches at RAF Halton in Buckinghamshire. Community Rugby Manager Dave Larham, an accredited RFU Coach Trainer, delivered two of the RFU's CPD Modules to 14 RAF coaches and four London Wasps Community Coaches.
Dave said after the session, "It was great to be involved with the RAF coaches. We worked hard to create a learning climate where the coaches could learn, share ideas, develop their coaching philosophies and challenge how they currently deliver these areas of the game. I would like to thank Flt Lt (Dave) Carey and Chief Technician (John) Wilding for their continued support and providing opportunities for London Wasps to support the Royal Air Force and rugby within the Armed Forces."
Chief Technician Wilding from RAF Benson said, "Many thanks for delivering the CPDs yesterday, it was a great day of learning with many positive comments coming back in the feedback. It was good to have your Wasps team down too as it made it more of a rugby centred day."
Chief Technician Keen from RAF Cosford said, "Absolute pleasure yesterday, thoroughly enjoyable. Many thanks."
