Having defeated the Barbarians at Twickenham in the opening game of England's summer fixtures, both Joe Launchbury and Christian Wade will travel as part of England’s squad for the summer tour to Argentina.
Named both the Computacenter Players’ Player of the Year and the LV= Young Player of the Year at the RPA Awards Dinner this month, as well as picking up the award for the Aviva Premiership top try scorer of the year, following a stand-out season in black and gold, Wade travels to Argentina in line to pick up his first international cap.
Following his man of the match display against the Barbarians, Joe Launchbury is in line to win his 10th cap for England this summer, having impressed for both club and country this season, playing every game throughout the 6 Nations and picking up the Monitise England Player of the Year 2013 at the RPA Awards Dinner.
They will also be joined by Kearnan Myall, who joins Wasps from Sale Sharks next season, and has this week been announced as an addition to England’s touring party.
The squad head to Montevideo, Uruguay, to face a CONSUR XV representing the South American nations on June 2 before Tests against Argentina in Salta (June 8) and Buenos Aires (June 15).
Fresh from impressive displays against England at Twickenham, Wasps’ Sam Jones, Elliot Daly and Marco Wentzel have all travelled with the Barbarians squad to Hong Kong, where they face the British and Irish Lions this Saturday.
The match will be shown live on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD on Saturday 1 June, kick off 12:30.
London Wasps have two representatives in the 28-man England U20s squad for this year’s IRB Junior World Championship campaign in France, which kicks off with a game against their French hosts on June 5.
Nathan Morris and Alec Hepburn have both been included in the squad having represented England in the same competition last year.
After their first game against France, Six Nations winners England face title-holders South Africa before coming up against USA, who are competing in the JWC for the first time in five years.
Andrea Masi is once again included in Italy’s squad this summer as take part in a Quadrangular tournament in South Africa.
Their first game takes place on June 8 against the hosts South Africa in Durban, before they take on Samoa on June 15. Both games will be shown like on Sky Sports.
