RPA launch new 15 Magazine App

For any rugby fans wanting to get the inside track on the stars of our game and what it takes to become a professional rugby player, check out The Rugby Players’ Association's (The Players’ Union) new app -15 magazine.

In the first issue London Wasps’ star Christian Wade chats music, telling us about his influences growing up and what he likes to listen to before and after a match.

The app features Interactive content including behind the scenes videos, twitter feeds, slide shows, competitions and interactive quizzes, as well as articles written by the players themselves.

The magazine is aimed at rugby fans of all ages and abilities and is a mix of serious articles providing fitness, technical and nutritional advice to improve performance, and quirky features like the “Press up Challenge” where fans can send video footage of themselves trying to “Beat the Pro.”

The main difference with this magazine is that most of the content will be written or filmed by the players themselves and each issue will have a Player Guest Editor from the Aviva Premiership or Championship. It is a way to give players who have an interest in journalism the opportunity to write regular articles as part the RPA’s Player Development Programme, which encourages players to pick up skills and qualifications which will help them in life after rugby.

There will be 6 issues of 15 magazine per year - £1.99 per issue or £9.99 for 6 issues. Any profit made by The RPA (The Rugby Players’ Association) will be invested into Player Welfare Services.

15 magazine will always include features from the Aviva Premiership, Championship, 7’s and Women’s rugby and going forward we would love to expand coverage to include grassroots rugby and other competitions. To check out more visit the website.

Thank you for supporting the RPA and the Players.
