The London Wasps Community Foundation is delighted to announce a partnership with The Challenge Network. The Foundation will host visits to teams of young people from Ealing who will be taking part in The Challenge programme.
The Challenge Network is a national charity that seeks to connect and inspire people to strengthen their communities.
The Challenge, delivered as part of National Citizen Service (NCS), is an intense programme for 15-17 year olds from different backgrounds, designed to develop key skills and inspire young people to take on more active roles in their communities. Those who complete the programme join The Challenge Society: a year-round programme that connects young people to a network of on-going events and activities.
The Foundation will host five professional visits to our Training Ground in Acton for teams of young people during July and August 2013. The professional visit is a key part of the programme that gives young people an insight into the world of work as well as an opportunity to receive feedback on their proposed community campaign. The visits will comprise of:
