Community Cup U7s & U8s Festivals return for second season

Book your U7s and U8s teams for our Festival on Sunday 21st April 2013

London Wasps would like to invite U7s and U8s squads based on 2012-2013 age-group to take part in our 2012/2013 Community Cup Festivals. These Festivals are a great opportunity for teams from across our community to compete in a professionally organised and run event and compete against teams that they would not normally get the opportunity to play against.

Festival details:

U7s and U8s will be on the 21st April 2013 preceding London Wasps vs Exeter Chiefs in the Aviva Premiership
The Festival will be held at Farnham Royal RUFC (Bucks)
Both the U7s and U8s age groups will be using the Shaping The Game rules.
Entry to the Festival is FREE with an optional squad match ticket charge of:
- U7s Team Ticket Pack (6 players and 1 coach): £56.70
- U8s Team Ticket Pack (8 players and 1 coach): £71.10

In addition to all of this, the U7s and U8s Cup Finalists will be invited to form the Tunnel of Honour at Adams Park Stadium, with the finals being played on the pitch following the London Wasps match!! The Plate, Bowl and Shield Winners will be invited to have their trophies re-presented at half time of the match.

Mark Hodge, Ashford RFC U9s said about last year's Festival, "My boys had a fantastic time and I'm sure they will remember their final on the Wasps pitch for a long time. The whole tournament had a great atmosphere to it, for us it was great to play teams we would never otherwise see."

Iain Keys, Wendens Ambo RFC U10s said, "The tournament was very well organised, venue good, easy to find. The level of rugby was very high and so many close games gave our lads great confidence that they can mix it with all the big clubs. The refereeing was excellent and a good break for coaches to be able to watch and not run the game!
The day was topped off by a great result for Wasps, a really good day for us all. I would like to thank you, Jo and all the rest of the team for allowing Wendens to take part in such a fantastic tournament, which is terrific for the kids to play in. We even have a new fixture out of it as Chesham want to come and play us!"
