Two former-CoacHclass particpants line up for London Wasps v Leicester Tigers

We are delighted that our CoacHclass Ambassador Sam Jones will captain London Wasps this weekend alongside another former CoacHclass participant Jack Wallace. Both players have been named by Dai Young in the starting line up to face Leicester Tigers on Saturday 26th January in the LV=Cup. We would like to wish both players the very best of luck.

CoacHclass Roadshow Events 27th January to 2nd February

Our CoacHclass Roadshow will visit venues over the South-East of England over the next few weeks spreading the word about our Spring CoacHclass Programme and providing opportunities for young people to engage with London Wasps. CoacHclass Programme Officer Ryan Hunt will lead a team of staff on:

  • Sunday 27th January - Guest coaching sessions at Sittingbourne RUFC Mini and Juniors
  • Wednesday 30th January - Schools coaching/assembly roadshow in the Sittingbourne area at Borden Grammar School | The Westlands School | The Abbey School | The Howards School | Grove Park School
  • Wednesday 30th January - Midweek evening training session at Sittingbourne RUFC
  • Saturday 2nd February - Match Day CoacHclass at High Wycombe RUFC for Crowborough RFC U8s

Jack Wallace Interview

CoacHclass Programme Officer, Ryan Hunt, caught up with London Wasps winger Jack Wallace to talk about his rise to the London Wasps team via the CoacHclass and Academy route.
"If you played rugby, you wanted to go on the London Wasps CoacHclass. You learned a lot about rugby as it was very game-related. All of the skills that the coaches taught you, were to help you in games and the way they coached was through playing games. When I go along to CoacHclass nowadays, I see they are still coaching through games and the kids love it; its popularity has grown so much."

London Wasps 'Rise Above The Rest' 5-Day Summer Residential CoacHclass

Our 'Rise Above The Rest' 5-Day Summer Residential CoacHclass 2013 will be held at RAF Halton (nr Aylesbury, Bucks) on Monday 5th August to Friday 9th August for players aged 12yrs to 16yrs. Participants will enjoy a fantastic rugby & activity experience.
