It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas for Sting

Read about our character mascot's busy Christmas schedule

With Christmas fast approaching, our character mascot Sting is preparing for a busy few days of supporting events in our community. The schedule starts on Thursday 13th December with our Amlin European Challenge Cup match against Aviron Bayonnais; where Sting will be cheering on the boys in black n gold. A victory against the French team will put us in a very strong position in the Pool, and hopefully in pole position to qualify for a Quarter-Finals place.

On Sunday 16th December Sting is due to fly south to visit the Mini & Juniors Sections at our Spring CoacHclass Venues Brighton RFC and Eastleigh Pirates RFC; followed by a visit later in the afternoon to Oxfordshire to join in with the festive fun and games at the Bicester RFC Mini Section Christmas Party.

After a couple of days off, Sting will visit Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury on the 20th and Wexham Park Hospital in Slough on the 21st. Both visits will see Sting joined by members of the London Wasps Squad to meet young patients who might be spending Christmas in hospital.

Sting's final duties of 2012 will see him back at Adams Park Stadium for our Aviva Premiership fixture versus Sale Sharks. Our furry friend will be able to reacquaint himself with former Wasps Danny Cipriani, Joe Ward and Andy Powell as we aim to keep our impressive home record at Fortress Adams Park by securing a win against the Salford-based Sharks.

If you are going to be at any of the clubs, hospitals or Adams Park Stadium in the next few days, let Sting know so that he can seek you out. You can contact Sting at
