As part of the partnership between Wasps and Mind, four home games this season will support the charity’s fundraising activity including this weekend’s Aviva Premiership clash.
As the leading mental health charity in England and Wales, Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem, as well as campaigning to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding of mental health.
Mind bucket collectors will be present around the ground this Sunday, and they will be happy to chat to supporters about everything the Charity does. The Mind ‘Stress Ball’ Mascot will also be out and about around the ground for pictures and a walkabout with Sting.
There’s also a great chance to support Mind in the Club shop this weekend with 10% of all alternate blue shirts sold this weekend going directly to the charity as well as 10% from all programme sales thanks to agreements with Kukri and Moon Communications.
The relationship between London Wasps and Mind began at the start of the season, with the Club nominating Mind as its Official Charity Partner for the next two seasons.
The Club aims to help increase the awareness of Mind's fantastic work as well as supporting its major fundraising efforts, while at the same time playing a key role in improving the understanding of mental health issues among staff, players, supporters and the wider rugby community.
As well as the Mind logo featuring on the front of the London Wasps playing shirts, the Mind brand features prominently around the ground on match-days and Wasps have got involved in a number of promotional activities to support the charity.
