Christ Church Cathedral School Coaching Day Report

On Friday 14th September our Independent Schools Officer David Choules visited Christ Church Cathedral School in the middle of Oxford to deliver a day of rugby-focused activities.

The morning session was on an indoor presentation covering the importance of nutrition and hydration for rugby players, with the pupils working in small groups to come up with meal and diet suggestions. After lunch, the U13s received coaching on defence and how to defend the space around the ruck.

David Choules told wasps.co.uk, "The day was a great success and I really enjoyed delivering the morning session and then applying the hydration elements in the afternoon's coaching session. The boys worked really well in the rugby session and made some impressive progress when defending the breakdown."
